Your Palanca!

Each team member needs to prepare the following for this weekend.

Palanca Notes

Each team member should write a note to every pilgrim for both Friday and Saturday, as well as one note for each team member. Please label the outside of each envelope with the recipient’s name, and for pilgrim notes, also indicate which day bag (Friday or Saturday) the card belongs in.

Pilgrim's names will be announced a couple of weeks prior to the weekend. The team names you can find on our team list which is listed under "Important Links."

Palanca Chain

Each team member should bring their completed paper chain to the Weekend. Use the Palanca As Sacrifice Chart (PDF link) to track your commitments. For example: Each meeting counts as: 1 red (Communion), 1 yellow (Sacrificial Works), 1 blue (Meditation/Prayer), and 1 orange for every 10 miles traveled. The paper slips will be provided at the September team meeting, or you can provide your own. Bring your finished chain to the Palanca Room on Thursday.

Door Palanca

Want to add a special extra? Door palanca is meant to be a nice surprise for both team and pilgrims when they come back to their room. Notes should be short and encouraging. You can use simple blue tape to hang on the doors.
